Add or switch your login channel (email or phone)

Keep both an email and a phone on your account, and pick your primary.

Your account can hold both an email and a phone number as login channels. You can add a second channel, verify it, and switch which one is your primary, all from Settings.

  1. Open Settings → Authentication.
  2. Add the channel you're missing: enter an email, or add a phone number.
  3. Verify it with the link we email you, or the one-time code we send by WhatsApp or SMS.
  4. Choose which channel is your primary, and switch it any time.
Passwordless account?
If you signed up with just your phone, you can also add an email and set a password from the same screen with Set password.
