By creating an account, accessing, or using our Service, you ("Parent," "Guardian," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
Only adults (18 years of age or older) may create parent accounts. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.

You can create and secure your account either with an email address and a password, or with a phone number and no password. The identifier you choose (email address or phone number) is used to sign in to and recover your account.
If you register or sign in with a phone number, you consent to receiving automated one-time login and verification codes at that number. These codes are delivered over WhatsApp (operated by Meta), with SMS as a fallback, through our messaging provider. Message and data rates may apply. Removing your phone number, or moving to an email-based account, stops these messages and means the number can no longer be used to sign in.
Student accounts are sub-accounts created and managed by parent accounts. Parents are fully responsible for:
Each parent account may have a maximum of 5 student accounts associated with it.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@elysianminds.org if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
We offer subscription plans on monthly and yearly billing cycles. Our subscription includes:
New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial, which begins when the account is verified. No payment method is required to start it. During the trial period you may add up to 2 students, and changes to the number of students during the trial are not charged and do not end the trial. If no payment method is provided before the trial ends, access is reduced for a short grace period and then suspended; account data is retained and access resumes if a subscription is started later.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Where a payment method is added during a free trial, no charge is made until the trial ends. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Refunds are available within 48 hours of purchase.
We reserve the right to modify our pricing. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will apply to subsequent billing periods.
We may offer referral programs and promotional coupons from time to time. Referral tracking is facilitated through unique referral identifiers passed during checkout. Promotional discounts and coupons may vary and are applied at the time of purchase. Terms and availability of referral rewards and promotional offers are subject to change without prior notice.
When you add additional students to your subscription, you will be immediately invoiced on a prorated basis for the remainder of your current billing period. If adding students causes you to exceed your trial student allowance, your free trial will end immediately and paid billing will begin.

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, video clips, data compilations, and software, are owned by Elysian Minds or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes, subject to these Terms.

While our academic content is aligned to the UK National Curriculum, Elysian Minds is not provided by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any school, examination board, educational institution, or government body. It is a supplementary learning tool intended to complement, not replace, formal education.
Our Service provides educational content for informational and entertainment purposes. It is not intended to replace professional advice, including medical, psychological, or educational advice. Always consult with appropriate professionals for specific concerns.
We strive to maintain reliable service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.

Our Service includes an AI-powered chatbot assistant designed to provide educational support. Chatbot responses are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended for informational and educational purposes only. Responses may be imperfect, incomplete, or inaccurate, and we do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of chatbot-generated content. The chatbot is not a substitute for professional educational, medical, or psychological advice. All chatbot responses are passed through age-appropriate safety filters before being shown to a student; messages or topics that fail these safety checks may be refused, partially redacted, or replaced with a safe response, and a record of the safety event may be retained for review and improvement of the filters. A virtual coin cost applies to chatbot usage; coins are refunded if the chatbot service encounters a failure.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELYSIAN MINDS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Elysian Minds regarding the Service.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

Elysian Minds reserves the right to terminate your affiliate participation at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, all unpaid commissions may be forfeited if termination is due to violation of these terms. You may also voluntarily withdraw from the program at any time.
Participation in the affiliate program does not create an employment, partnership, or agency relationship with Elysian Minds. Affiliates are independent contractors and are solely responsible for their own taxes, reporting, and compliance with applicable laws. Commission rates and program terms are subject to change with reasonable notice.
Elysian Minds offers a guest mode that lets you try a limited set of sample lessons without creating an account. By using guest mode, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Creating a free account unlocks the full experience, including saved progress and rewards, and is governed by the rest of these Terms.
